Vines are located on the right bank of the Loire. River and more precisely in Pouilly-sur-Loire in the Nièvre (56), on a clay-limestone soil (rich in small oysters).
Sancerre is located at an altitude of 310 metres on a single mountain in the Cher region, in the centre. The particularity of its terroir is limestone dominance.
