To combat single-use packaging, several wines in the range are already in the circuit. Since 2022, the Les Terrelles varietal wine brand has been available in reusable bottles in BIOCOOP stores.
The packaging clearly encourages consumers to return their bottles, giving them the opportunity to act on their convictions and become active consumers.

Working for the long term

What is bottle reuse?

With the introduction of reuse, we are fighting against single-use packaging by changing the way we consume. Reuse means 75% less energy, 79% fewer greenhouse gas emissions and 33% less water consumption than recycling (source: (source : ADEME)

The bottle is heavier

The batch number is no longer engraved on the bottle, but on the back label, so that bottles can be reused

Working for the long term

How does it work for us?

We have set up efficient and truly operational bottle recycling systems throughout the country.

We put regional bottle washers in touch with outlets wishing to participate in this new approach.

Bottle washers provide crates at sales outlets and organize the collection of empty bottles.

Bottles are washed in compliance with hygiene rules and standards.

Washed bottles are bought back and reused for future bottling

Reduce our environmental impact

Why remove the bottle tops?

To reduce our ecological impact even further, our bottles will gradually no longer be capped, but will be attractively adorned with a neck label.

In order to reduce our environmental impact, we will give priority to the withdrawal of non-bio-sourced capsule ranges.
