Cépages: Gewurztraminer

Originally from Alsace, Gewurztraminer is a highly expressive, aromatic white grape variety.
This grape variety produces fragrant, full-bodied wines with exotic aromas and a smooth texture.
When young, wines made with Gewurztraminer have aromas of spices, lychee, gingerbread and flowers such as rose.
With a later harvest, this variety develops more diverse aromas, such as apricot and honey.
20% of Alsace’s vineyards are planted with Gewurztraminer, just behind Riesling, which occupies 23% of cultivated land.
This variety is also found in Eastern Europe.
